Debbie Wright
If you’ve stopped by the Samaritan Center stores over the last few months, you may have noticed a new face leading our thrift stores. Debbie Wright, who previously served in volunteer and thrift operations, has assumed the helm as our thrift manager.
Wright came to the Samaritan Center in 2015, working first as a processer and cashier and then in the volunteer and thrift support position. In that position, Debbie worked closely with her now direct supervisor, Keith Heming, director of operations.
Heming says Wright was selected for this position because of her level-headed and creative thinking.
“Debbie’s very balanced and has high integrity,” says Heming. “And I love her fresh ideas.”
When you come in the store, you may notice some of Wright’s new ideas in action, including color-coded hangers denoting size in the Thrift Store and a less crowded feel to the stores.
It is Wright’s hope that these changes will give the Center’s patrons the best shopping experience possible.
