For the 2019 Spirit of Christmas parade, the Samaritan Center was grateful to receive the honor of being the Grand Marshal. The Samaritan Center has organized the parade in past years, however, the City of Collegedale took the helm this year. Not only did the city give us the honor of grand marshal, but they also donated all parade entry fees to the Samaritan Center.
We received help from our friends at Apison Pathfinders Club who assisted us in handing out Ty Beanie Babies to parade attendees. We are grateful to the City of Collegedale for organizing the parade, the Apison Pathfinders Club for passing out toys and to all who participated in the parade this year.
