Location: Samaritan Center – 9231 Lee Highway, Ooltewah, TN 37363
Reports To: Director of Social Services
Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:00-5:00

Pay: $14.65/hr

Position Summary:

The Care Corner Coordinator provides hands-on operational support for Samaritan Center’s Care Corner, helping ensure that food, household items, and other essential resources are organized, stocked, and readily available for clients. This active role supports daily Care Corner operations by packing food and basics carts, restocking and rotating inventory, processing and organizing donations, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with other tasks needed to keep the Care Corner running efficiently.

  • Ability to follow direction and adjust priorities as needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented attitude

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to assist with stocking shelves, moving supplies, and organizing storage areas
