Dear Friends,

We are now over one year into living with COVID-19 and what a challenging year of pivoting, innovating, and adapting it has been. While none of us know when life will return to normal, I can tell you how the Samaritan Center has continued operating and stayed true to our mission of helping those in need in our community.

Throughout the pandemic, our Social Services Department has seen the needs in our community change and has adapted to meet them. While some services we regularly provided were not needed as much, new needs
developed as individuals needing assistance for the first time reached out to the Samaritan Center. For example, as the need for rent and mortgage assistance increased we were able to support our community, tripling the rent and mortgage assistance we provided in 2020.

During this last year, despite the frequent change in needs as a result of the pandemic, the Samaritan Center adjusted our services to remain focused on our core value of helping those in need. I would like to thank each of our supporters for their contribution to our ministry. We have been able to continue meeting the needs of those in our community because of you.

As we go forward in these uncertain times the Samaritan Center will strive to continue investing in the lives of others and providing the support needed for the challenges being faced. Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our ministry.
