For many years, when natural disasters have struck our neighbors, both domestically and abroad, the Samaritan Center has served as a local hub for our community to pool its resources to best impact those in need.
It is our desire to aid the victims of Hurricane Dorian, which recently caused widespread damage to the Bahamas, in the same way. Recent experience has taught us that the best way to serve international natural disaster victims is by raising funds and funneling those to vetted organizations helping locally in the clean-up and rebuilding process.
