Thrift Store

At the Samaritan Center, our thrift store is the financial engine that powers our social services assistance programs. With three sections to keep stocked, the Samaritan Center is always in need of gently-used items. Whether it’s an old couch, a pair of blue jeans, a toy kitchen, or even an old vehicle, we can turn it into cash that will help others.

Both new and used items are accepted. If you no longer have a place for something, you can donate it to the Samaritan Center by visiting our donation dock, located at 6017 Ooltewah-Georgetown (next to Ace Hardware on Lee Highway).

Hours:

Social Services and Front Office: Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thrift Stores: Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.

Donation Dock: Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday 12-5 p.m.

All offices, stores, and services are closed on Saturday.
