Truck Driver / Donation Dock Worker
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Driving + Warehouse/Dock)
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Donation Dock)
- Sunday: As needed
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Truck Driver/Donation Dock Worker to join our team. This role requires a professional individual who can represent our organization positively while performing a combination of driving, donation intake, and warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilties:
- Safely operate a large non‑CDL box truck or straight truck
- Provide exceptional customer service during donation pick‑ups and interactions
- Load and unload donations; consistently lift 50+ lbs
- Operate a hand truck and other basic warehouse equipment safely
- Assist on the donation dock receiving and processing donations
- Perform general warehouse duties when not driving
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving a large non‑CDL box truck or straight truck
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more throughout the workday
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently on the donation dock and in a warehouse environment
- Dependable, professional, and safety‑conscious
- Basic knowledge of hand truck operation
- Dependable and punctual
- Good geographic knowledge of the local area for effective route planning
- Willingness to be cross-trained and assist in other roles as needed
Work Environment
This position involves both driving and hands‑on physical labor. Candidates should be comfortable working indoors and outdoors, on the dock, and in the warehouse as needed.
Pay:
