Assistance

The Samaritan Center provides emergency assistance for low income families and individuals in eastern Hamilton County. Assistance is available by appointment for those who live in our service area and provide documentation of need. To make an appointment call 423.238.7777, ext. 10. One of the Samaritan Center’s top priorities is maintaining the dignity of the people who come here for help. When clients feel that many aspects of their lives are out of control, the Center hopes to empower them by letting them be part of the process. At every juncture, the Samaritan Center aims to prepare clients for a return to self-sufficiency. Until then, Center employees and supporters hope that the Center’s services will bring Help for Today and Hope for Tomorrow to the lives of those we touch. You will need to bring the following documentation to your appointment:

  • Proof of Residency (lease or mortgage)
  • All Bills and Expenses for the past 30 days
